How do I book Cruzzing Balloons for my Event?

Do I need to pay a deposit to hold my date?

Nope, no down payment required! We hold your date without asking for any money upfront. You pay on the day of your event. We believe in making it as easy and risk-free as possible for families to book with us.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and summer dates which fill up fast. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, so always reach out even if your event is coming up soon!

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens, we totally understand. Since there's no deposit, cancellations are simple. Just give us as much notice as possible so we can open that slot for another family. Rescheduling is easy too, just call or text us and we'll find a new date that works.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing is simple and transparent. Balloon Twisting starts at $150/hour. Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos start at $130/hour. Balloon Decor is custom-quoted based on your vision and venue. Bundle multiple services together and we'll work out a package deal, just ask!

Do you offer package deals if I book multiple services?

Yes! When you combine services, like Balloon Twisting + Face Painting, or Face Painting + Glitter Tattoos, we offer bundle discounts. Just mention what you're interested in when you reach out and we'll put together a custom quote that fits your budget.

Is there a travel fee?

We serve all of San Diego County and most locations have no travel fee. For events in areas that require extended travel, we may add a small fee, but we'll always be upfront about that when you request your quote. No surprises.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is collected on the day of your event, not before. Simple as that.

What services do you offer?

We offer four main services: Balloon Twisting (custom balloon art made on the spot), Face Painting (100+ designs using safe, FDA-compliant paints), Glitter Tattoos (temporary sparkly tattoos that last 3–5 days), and Balloon Decor (arches, columns, centerpieces, and more). You can book one or mix and match!

Can kids pick whatever balloon they want?

Absolutely! Every child gets to pick exactly what they want. Animals, superheroes, swords, flowers, crowns, if a kid can dream it, we can usually twist it. We love custom requests and that personal touch is what makes each creation special.

How many kids can you serve per hour?

On average we serve 10–12 kids per hour for balloon twisting and face painting. Glitter tattoos move a little faster at around 15 per hour. For large events with 100+ guests, we can bring multiple artists to keep the line moving smoothly, just let us know the size of your event when you book.

Can adults get balloons or face painting too?

100% yes, and they always do! We love when adults jump in. Honestly, the glitter tattoos and face painting are just as popular with teens and adults as they are with kids. Don't be shy, get in line!

How long do glitter tattoos last?

Glitter tattoos typically last 3–5 days and are water-resistant, so they hold up through swimming, bathing, and playing. When you're ready to remove one, just use a little baby oil or rubbing alcohol and it comes off easily with no irritation.

Are your face paints safe for kids?

Absolutely. We only use professional-grade, FDA-compliant, water-activated face paints that are hypoallergenic and non-toxic. They're safe for all skin types and all ages, including toddlers. They wash off easily with soap and warm water, and we always do a quick check for known allergies before painting.

Are glitter tattoos safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! We use medical-grade adhesive and cosmetic-grade glitter that are tested and safe for sensitive skin. If a child has known skin allergies or conditions, just give us a heads-up beforehand and we can take extra precautions or skip that service for that child.

What age group do you work with?

We work with all ages, toddlers, kids, teens, and adults. We adjust our approach based on the age group at your event. With very young children (2 and under), we take extra care and always defer to parents before painting or tattooing.

Where do you serve?

We serve all of San Diego County, Poway, Chula Vista, La Jolla, Eastlake, Rancho Bernardo, El Cajon, Santee, National City, and everywhere in between. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just ask, we'll always do our best to make it work.

What types of events do you do?

We do it all, birthday parties, school events, corporate family days, community festivals, quinceañeras, baby showers, church events, holiday parties, and more. If you have a gathering with kids (or adults who act like kids), we're the right call.

What do you need from us on the day of the event?

Very little! We bring everything we need. Just have a small table and two chairs available for us to set up at (we can bring our own if needed). A shaded or indoor spot is preferred for face painting and glitter tattoos. That's about it we handle the rest.

What happens if it rains or the event move indoors?

No problem at all, we work both indoors and outdoors. If the weather changes, just let us know and we'll adapt. Rain or shine, we show up and make it work. The only thing that can stop a great party is a lack of balloons, and we've got plenty.

Can you handle very large events with hundreds of guests?

Yes! For large corporate events, school fairs, or festivals with 100–500+ guests, we can bring multiple artists to cover everyone. We've done it many times. Just give us the details when you reach out and we'll put together a plan that makes sense for your crowd size.
